Site creator here, you might have noticed there's no more species pictures; and that's because I'm commissioning custom art for the website!
Currently working on: Species pictures and summery of information
If there's anyone willing to help out with this project via doing research on creatures, helping write lore or doing species art, I can be reached at [email protected]
Welcome to Eden
Eden, a place that is completely unknown save for those that reside within the realm. Eden is a place where creatures thought to be simply of tales and folklore may come to not only survive, but prosper and form a new life.
Eden was once the realm of humans. Humans at one time contained magic within their veins, they lived and advanced on Eden, enhancing their abilities and expanding what was capable. Unfortunately, some thought that humans would be better off without magic, and so worked together to try to take the magic away. A war broke out, leaving Eden a world of crumbling ruins. Sad and not knowing what to do, the humans used their knowledge to move to a new realm. They found earth, a place untouched with creatures and species they had never encountered or believed could ever exists. With hope in their hearts they left Eden for earth, leaving the magic rich world behind.
How sad it was, that upon arriving on earth they discovered their magic was gone, and soon, so were their memories of their homeland. Humans prospered on earth, forming diverse cultures, languages and soon taking it over; leaving no room for the creatures and inhabited there originally.
Humans arriving on earth also caused something else to happen, their faults and need to know all and control all led to new, dark creatures to evolve and roam the earth in the dead of night. Humans magic had been locked away, but some trickled into the air and the myths and legends the humans created, became reality. Vampires, demons, werewolves and other terrible monsters now joined the others on earth. Much too crowded and facing extinction due to human development, creatures of light and dark worked together, creating hidden portals from earth to a new realm.
Unknown to them, the portals led to the realm from which the humans had come from. Slowly, creatures moved to Eden, forming a new life there were they could live in relative piece and happiness, missing what was once their earth, but growing to love Eden as if it was their home.
