Like the head of a gorgon, the cockatrice's powers of petrification are still active after death. The cockatrice can also fly using the set of wings affixed to its back.

A large reptile covered in hard scales that's unable to be penetrated by metal and immune to magic. They come in a vary of forms.

They are made up of a smokeless fire and have the physical property of weight. Like human beings, the Djinn can also be good, evil, or neutrally benevolent and hence have freewill like humans and unlike angels
DwarvesA being that dwells in mountains and in the earth, and is associated with wisdom, smithing, mining, and crafting. Dwarves are also described as short and ugly with long beards.
ElvesThere are many kind of elves. All elves share the traits of having pointed ears and powers attributed to the element they embody.

Fenghuangs
The males are called Feng and the females Huang. It's a composite of many birds including the head of a golden pheasant, the body of a mandarin duck, the tail of a peacock, the legs of a crane, the mouth of a parrot, and the wings of a swallow.

A carved stone grotesque able to come alive at night, but forced to return to immobile stone as the sun hits it.
